I’m a creative centipede and an out-of-the-box globe trotter, with an ability to easily relate across cultures. I love diversity, the rich flavour it gives life and how it inspires my designs. Fortunately, being fluent in English, Dutch and French, enables me to work remotely with people and designers worldwide.
Twisions is my creative agency.
It’s an inspiring world full of twirls and twinkles, where one and one equals infinite possibilities.
(Albert Einstein)
I completed a bachelor in graphic design at Sint-Lucas College of Arts (Belgium) way back in July 2003. Thirteen years ago, I became part of an awesome marketing team at TE-Group. Being an inhouse designer, delivering artwork and web design for all of their brands, I’ve also had the good fortune to work on lots of exciting outsourced projects, including artwork for some huge retailers and famous multinationals. I have designed for retail, health care, a music band, small businesses and non-profit organizations.
After all these years of experience, an incredibly unhealthy intake of cups of hot chocolate, long hour work schedules and crazy deadlines, I now work tirelessly to ensure that you receive the quality I advertise on my behalf.
THE THINGS I LOVE.
Typically, most creative people are right-brained, aesthetically oriented creative types. An undeniable asset in the field of design, but however very limiting because their artwork might not hit pay dirt with non-creative types which make up a large portion in the business world. I have a different background, I studied economics and languages before venturing into university to pick up my degree in art. I established business as well as copywriting skills, resulting in an approach that does not lack intuitive business mindset. This competitive edge allows me to bring both an aesthetic focus as well as a practical mindset that adds value to the service.
Heart and brain, incessant imagination yet rigorous logic, wild at heart but meticulously punctual.
When it comes to ‘cross-pollination’ of design disciplines, I am passionate and probably slightly neurotically obsessed by the belief that creativity, media and technology must live in perfect harmony. I’ve personally been invested in banning the “Jack of all trades, master of none”-train of thought for many years. We can, legitimately, be masters of all.
I bring different disciplines together into a total solution to solve all your business challenges. Yup, I dip my finger in every pie and I’m not ashamed of that!
Which also makes me a solid choice for your inhouse designer position. Whatever you need, I’m on it.
